The main emphasis in our component production facility is to guarantee our customers a fast delivery with quality components on time every time.


We believe in maintaining as much flexibility for our customers as possible by having our own component production facility.  

Extensive in-process inspection ensures machined components are conforming in every way, as designed, for the hydraulics industry.

We only make components for own Hydraulic Cylinders (PB Machine Tech/Burnside).

We stock a variety of round bar from 12 to 280mm and plate from 10-200mm. This enables fast turn-around times. To provide flexibility we also source certain components through our local and international sub-contractor partners.

Machine tools include a number of multi-axis mill-turn lathes, with twin spindle, twin turret gantry fed systems. We also have 4+1 axis milling machines and many bar-fed and robotically fed CNC lathes with sub-spindles and live tools. Carbide tooling used includes latest technology solutions from leaders like Sandvik, HORN, ISCAR etc.

Rough external grooving using the "Castleisation" method for rapid material removal using a 6mm wide insert in out component division.

Manually fed stand-alone CNC lathes and 3-axis machining centres, allows us to competitively manufacture parts for volumes of 1 to 2000. We also have a 4-Head Oxy-Fuel gas profiler to cut non-round parts, which we then machine to produce a variety of cylinder mounting solutions to suit specific customer needs.

Current capacity is on average 12,000 components per week. Capacity is provided 24 hours per day over 3 shifts.
